Why we love Bucharest Mall

It's no longer a secret: we're in a relationship with Bucharest Mall ! Cupidon was A List Magazine, which from the first sight offered us all the support in promotion and a concept of a pop-up store dedicated to Romanian designers, to meet a new audience, used to shopping at the mall.

To you, to those who appreciate our stories woven with values, t-shirts with proverbs, naframs, armchairs and quatrains, we bring you a loud news that will be heard throughout Romania: we have started of the first Izabela Mandoiu footwear collection .

The collection is, of course, rooted in traditional treasure. We are in the year of the centenary and, more than ever, we need to be aware of the efforts of our predecessors, so that we can confidently step into tomorrow.

The OPINCI collection, "STEPS WITH TRADITION" means comfortable shoes, through which the designer wants to bring an alternative to the well-known ballerinas. This type of footwear dates back to the time of the Dacians and was worn by common people. Opinci used to be worn by soldiers as well and are even depicted in paintings of saints.

Izabela Măndoiu presents a stylized version of the shoes, made of quality materials, with a modern design, to which she added insoles, to make them more durable to wear.

"The windows are a statement of simplicity, authenticity and respect for everything our ancestors left behind. It is our duty, of those who appreciate tradition, to capitalize on every element that can contribute to the comfort of wearing and the aesthetics of an outfit", says Izabela.

Traditional is not a trend, and this is also validated by the great designers from around the world, who show a continuous interest in national symbolism and authentic Romanian design.

• together with AList Magazine they organized AList Designers Boutique, a project in which the Izabela Mandoiu brand was also co-opted;
• is a mall in the city center, easily accessible, which also organizes events dedicated to families with children;
• it has a cinema and after shopping you can relax with a movie;
• roof top parties – and here we are waiting for confirmations about how cool urban parties of this type are.
